In Šilainiai district surrounded by faceless monolith and concrete boxes “BERNELIŲ UŽEIGA” greets you with cozy folk interior. This restaurant was opened in 2000. It looks as if the prosperous farmer has moved his country house with a huge garden full of blossoming garden-beds under your windows, wooden swings for the little guests, comfortable tables and the real wooden fence which protects us from modern reality.
This cozy restaurant is decorated with Lithuanian folk household belongings. Each of them has his own rich history and has survived many wars and has seen a number of owners. Wooden walls, tables, chairs and benches made by hands of talented joiner as well as other details of decoration altogether make one continuous space, and everyone can realize they came from Lithuanian country and past.
